Forum Upgrade please read

Degrassi Forum is going to get many new upgrades that you need to know about, please take time to read over this thread.

The forum software (vBulletin) is getting upgraded on Wednesday the 28th.

I'll give you a heads up that things will need adjusting so we ask that you work with us by reporting errors, broken images etc.

How things will be done:

1. I'll give a 30 min notice before the site shuts down.

2. I don't expect the site to be down anymore than 1 to 3 hours. I'll work as fast as I can to get everything back up again.

3. Once we open the site again, I'll be around to answer any questions that you may have.

Thanks for the heads up! I'm excited! Will there be any features that will only pertain to the staff?

There are a few, but i'm not sure if i'm going to have them enabled here since all the members are good here

The upgrade will start around 12am eastern time. I find it's a good time to do the upgrade since the site isn't really active at that time. As I said a 30 mins warning will be posted.

This is the 30 min notice before the forum goes offline for the upgrade. I'm about to start taking a lot of things offline, so just a warning.

Welcome back everyone. The upgrade went well, I haven't seen any errors at all. There will be a delay with the Multi-Quote replying (matching images for the skins have to be made first) and Degrassi Radio (still have to install the software).

The old profile look has to be restored. Also a few other things need done. This only the start of improvements to come.

Story Section

We how have a story section. It allows you to write your own Degrassi Story and then other members can add on to it. You can see an example of one I made. Feel free to give it a test drive.

We are going to get a new chat system. The old chat kind of sucks, and takes forever to load. The new chat will load fast and I think everyone will like it.
