Many of you already know we have a chat room, but also have noticed it's not really used much. So a member came up with the idea of getting the word out. Mostly everyone is out of school now so this is a good time to start doing this.

Q: The chat page doesn't load for me! What can I do?
A: For the chat to load you must have Java installed on your computer. It can be downloaded at http://java.com/en/

Q: Why does it take so long to load?
A: Java doesn't run 24/7 on your computer. It only runs when needed so it takes a while for it to load. Also it depends on your internet connection. With dial up it might take a 1 - 2 mins to load, while DSL and Cable connections it might only take a few seconds.

Q: I'm an AOL user and I keep getting access denied messages. What can I do?
A: This is due to parental controls set on your account. You'll need to ask an adult to approve IRC chat rooms for your account.
