In a few weeks school ends for me in a few weeks. I would like to start adding new features to the site, but I could use some help from everyone here. What would you like to see added? Try to keep suggestions practical. For instance, I'd like to give you the ability to watch music videos, but this isn't practical since that costs lots of money to license. So with that in mind, what things could we add to the site that you want to see? Or change? Thanks for any suggestions

Maybe a spoiler section can be added around the start of Season 6.

I re-installed the gallery, you might find that useful for pictures.

This is an idea of mine that I've wanted to do on a few sites, but I think it would work best here.

I was thinking of adding a real store they would allow everyone to order different clothing. I know the average member around is highschool - college age so I would offer stuff like T-Shirts, Girl's Styles, Athletics, Sweats and other things like mouse pads etc. They would help promote both Degrassi: The Next Generation and also Degrassi Forum. I might even hold a contest for layouts that would be printed on these items.

Just added!: I've done enhancements to the profiles adding a friend/buddy system. When viewing a post you can click the "Add to buddy list" link and you'll be able to add the person to your buddy list. This can also be done by viewing the persons profile.

how about divided sector for all characters and actors separated from show in general we could add pictures and talk about them etc

I'll look into a palex skin, but it won't be for a while. I guess I might aswell tell everyone why.

The forum is going to get a massive upgrade with many new features. The downside of this is all 6 skins that are installed now will have to be re-made so they work with the new features. This will be the main reason I'll have to wait before making new skins.

Any idea if the upgrade will involve downtime? Its part of my rountine to check the boards and maybe if I mentally prepare I won't click the link and get the "Upgrading -Be back soon" type message when I normally check.

If you come here during the hours of 12am - 5am there is a chance you'll get some error or a message saying "we are upgrading to vB 3.6".

How long will the downtime be? I can't say that, depends on how long I go before doing this upgrade.

When will it be? Don't know, once I know everything here works on that version of the forum software I'll upgrade, but not before.

i was wondering if there could be a section where i can upload them so i can share them...

Something like that would timeout when you try uploading it to a forum due the size of the file. I really don't think it can be done without running into problems when uploading.

How long are these music videos? Also what size are they?

they are a song length.. like 3-4 minutes
and the biggest one i have is 12.1 MB

i can understand if it's not possible, i was just wondering...B)
