| Level 37 Bureaucrat | You mean a client as they are known in the business? If you're on GNU/Linux i would highly recommend KTorrent, but Azureus is more popular. If you're on Windows, uTorrent is (as far as i know) the best option. Be sure to run Peer Guardian to keep the RIAA from trying to stop you downloading.........Linux distros ![]() If you mean a tracker (i think that's the right word) as in a site with all the .torrent files for you to download them; then I'd recommend Demonoid.com (pm me if you want an invite) if you're going to be using bittorrent alot. If it's just for a couple of things then just use sites like isohunt.com and mininova.org |

| Depends on your OS; if you're on Windows, there's uTorrent. Linux, there's KTorrent (for KDE) and Deluge, or Transmission( GTK) Mac OS X, there's Transmission too. Extreme Coder |

I have plenty of RAM and like the layout/features of Azureus, so that's what I generally use. It is pretty bad though if you don't have a decent amount of RAM installed, which is most pre-built systems and many first and second builds. | |

| The author of uTorrent made a deal with the owner of BitTorrent, and will "add features that will make it more valuable to users" ssounds like uTorrent made a pact with another devil. So I should expect any new versions of uTorrent to be DRM-full ![]() Extreme Coder |
