Should I buy an iphone?

With the coming of black friday and the discounts on a whole slew of stuff, I am considering buying the iphone. i have not bought myself anything since I got my xbox360 in the summer and the iphone seems entertaining.

Do any of you own an iphone

Should I get one if at a cheaper price? why , why not.

I love my iPhone. Unfortunately you're not going to find it any cheaper than $400. You'll need to sign a 2 year contract, and you'll be stuck with AT&T and their EDGE network.

The iPhone is a great toy, but it is just that, a toy. The only thing it has going for it is the fact that it's sleek, sexy, and has that kick-ass touch interface. Other than that, it really doesn't do anything any other phone can't do.

Unless of course, you're planning on hacking it like I did

I wouldn't, just because it's a closed platform. That really bothers me. Plus, if you want a mobile internet/multimedia device, the Nokia Nseries is a much better choice, IMO.

I have a N800, and it's great. It's cheaper, has a better screen, has standard SDHC slots for expanding memory, no contract, etc., etc. The advantages it has over the iTurd are legion.

Just the fact that it has no user-replaceable battery would be enough to turn me off it totally. That's just too bizarre.

Also there seems to be Chinese clones available with the same functionality (or more) for half the price of the Apple item.

I'll rather wait for the neo 1973 with open moko.The first truly open phone. Can't wait to get my hands on one and have a dual boot with open moko and qtopia from Norwegian Trolltech. (The people behind QT)

im going to get this...Motorola SLVR L7 Red, Motorola, SLVR L7 Red, motorola SLVR L7 red, Motorola slvr mobile phone, Motorola l7 slvr red Cell phones

I have the l2, and im well aquainted to it, This one just happens to have a camera and mp3 player, I probably wont be using the mp3 since I have an ipod but I like the red alot.
