Default 3 monitors under Win XP?

OK... I am a Linux guy. Have been since pre 2.0 days.
Has someone done this here?

A friend of mine runs stock market/financial software and wants to have a triple view monitor setup. Single screen spanned across 3 monitors.

Ask me to do this in X, and it's a done deal. Win XP however????

So... My guess is to have two nvidia based dual head cards leaving one of the outputs dead.

Does WinXP automatically set itself up or set up via control panel easily? I know dual head is pretty simple. Done that before for someone. Triple head on the other hand... I do not know.

Appreciate the comments.
I do, so others may fly.

I have no direct experience with three monitors. With two it's all done with the driver software for the graphics card and appears to have very little to do with Windows. In general Windows relies heavily of the vendor drives to do anything a bit tricky with hardware.
