Default Key broken on my laptop

My laptop is a HP Pavilion dv6000. Today when I was typing my password to log in, the X key came of its fastening. I'm not really sure what to do, I can't fix it back on myself; Can I send it back to the manufacturer for something this trivial?

Suggestions please ...

Not sure where you live, but a tech at CompUSA, or another national chain, or a local computer shop should be able to fix it in a jiffy. Shouldn't cost you much either. Either a few bucks, or I would guess free if they don't need a new part.

I'm in the UK, so I'll probably take it to a local computer store. Thanks for your reply.
