| Interested participant | I keep an external hard drive for all of my files, and back the super important ones onto a flash drive. The folders are just organized by catagory (My Pictures, My Papers, My Videos) then sub-catagorized by subject. I try to keep them in the same format whenever possible, but I use so many programs to track everything that it sometimes becomes a jumbled mess. |

| "files catigurised, with lots of subfolders" I usually sort my storage something like this: --------------------------------- Audio + Albums + Singles + Random/Incomplete Video (random files does not reach subfolders) + Music + + Live + + PVs + + Concerts + Movies + TV Shows Images (random files does not reach subfolders) + Photobooks Documents ----------------------------- Saves more space than partitioning to keep all on one drive. My partitions look are on: / /home [swap] /media/hda5 (storage/torrents) EDIT: Most non-Audio is transferred too my external HDD. |
