| Okay, need help and not sure how long puter is going to cooperate with me today, she's being tempermental.... quick summery... Worked fine this am, however left alone for bout an hour, came back and instead of it being in the screensaver type mode, my screen showed.... Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key, ,if anyone one out there can help, would be appreciated. If unable to access computer to check for replies, i will have the opportunity at work on Tuesday to check this site.. |

| ok, was advised to restart the system and reset the Bios default values...haven't done yet as i am sure this forum has really really good computer peeps, wanted your feed back before doing so. Was told that it's an error at Start-up, the reason for having to reset the values, your opinions? Sound like i've been given the proper advice? |

| what i don't understand with all this is that 2+ hours ago i couldn't get access to anything, just showed the screen regarding the boot, so i shut computer down, left it for an hour or so, and it came right up as normal. |

| Commentator | The problem could be a number of things it's hard to tell from here exactly what it is. Your hard drive couldbe failing so you should backup any important files you need. Do you have any spare hard drives you can swap and test? Go into BIOS and make sure that the boot-up sequence is correct. Do you have more than one hard drive plugged in? |
