| Discussion starter | I still say Super Mario Brothers 1 and Tetris on NES, and Spiderman vs Venom on SNES are THE best games out there. Simple, you can waste a ton of time and not feel like it's been an hour. Of course Pac-Man rules them all! mwahahahaahahaaa ![]() I must say though....World of Warcraft is something quite amazing for a PC game. You can do pretty much ANYTHING in this game that you want to and still do fine. It's the first 3D game I've actually loved to play, and you can really gain (and ruin) a lot of friendships with that game. Now if only Blizz would port it to the Wii, my decision whether or not to buy the Wii would become so much clearer! LOL. |

| Interested participant | Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii It looks like the best pick entertainment-wise. When you figure in the ability to download retro games/old favourites how can you lose? I'd get a PS3 too, if they didn't want you to trade your soul for it. (The price is just way too outrageous) |

| The Coding Wraith | I am going to/might buy the Wii. I am pretty much loyal to Nintendo since they rock. Also, the Wii doesn't cost as much. I don't need another DVD player, I just want a game system. That is why I like the Wii. They also have some cool games for it. |

| Besides the fact that they're all now "current" generation, I think I'll wait until they become "last" generation (when the SONY PS4, MICROSOFT XBOX 1080 Xtreme!, and NINTENDO YIPPEE! come out ). I'm always at least one generation behind the trend and snag lots of cheap games because of it ![]() As for which to buy? Possibly the PS3 if it drops significantly in price (I don't even own a PS2 yet!) or the Wii (for all the older games). |

| Ubuntu God | I hate the Wii. I am a huge Sony gamer. I was with Sony when they were trying to be partners with Nintendo for the Play Station add-on for the SNES. I now own a PS3 with a 500GB HD (with Ubuntu on it ), and i love every bit of it . I modified it to have 1GB of ram instead of the usual 512MB. |

| Not as much into gaming as I once was, so if I get any one it'll the Wii. PS3 and Xbox 360 are more of the same, lots of games that require you to play for ages. With the Wii there will be some fun easy to pick up games that we can play for 15 minutes and that's it... |
