| Commentator | Does anyone here use any other IRC networks? I use Undernet,which has typically 35,000 channels on the go at any time, and the LSpace network, which only has 5 channels. Undernet, unlike freenode is a very old and highly unregulated network, where you can set up a channel for anything. As a result, there are some very dodgy channels for things like warez, mp3 sharing, movie sharing etc. it could be best described as a 'wild west red light district' of IRC. It was set-up in the early 90's, and grew very fast. |
