chatting online
word processing
internet browsing
dvd watching
most (not hardcore) gaming
downloading (music, videos, images)
photoshopping the way 98% of the population does

REALLY using a computer:

programing that actually does something useful
math humans cannot computer in under an hour
high-end web design
professional photoshop, flash, etc
high-end gaming
media production
Hmm I always thought they were priced very low.

but yeah dell computers are good for me.
I've fixed a number of Dells with that problems. There's a set of dells that have fans installed wrong, you might have one of those.

They are low prices, but they're high when you consider how litte they come with and how difficult it is for the computer to do some heavy work.

I'm considering getting a Dell pretty soon. My current computer is "the family" computer so I need to watch what kind of files(ie web files, digital art) I save because my family isn't as computer sauve and they will end up deleted, moved, corrupt, or they install some kind of game that takes up alot of resources.
I don't post much but I do watch the forum! If you are having problems with anyone feel free to PM me!
