doesnt matter to me, i use Trillian so I can be connected to all of them and chat across all messengers(including IRC too) using only one program :-D

only because I got all my contacts on MSN.
none of my friends use AIM or YIM ok maybe some, but most have MSN anyway and I make them get MSN. hahahaha.

In order from best to worst:

MSN(Great look and has alot of nice features!)
YIM(Also great look as has multiplayer games!)
AIM(It loads fast and probably 90% of the kids in your school have it)

AIM definitely. AIM has good connecions, and tons of people have it. It also has a variety of smiles to choose from, unlike YIM that only has a couple of fonts to choose from, and you can only have a white background with no avatar of your choice.
