I have been posting to my site for a few years now getting around 800 hits a week. I set it up before it was easy to to get free blog space. So it's hosted on the free web space provided by my ISP. I get 50Mb of space and that's it, there is no back end at all so I have to use good old fashioned html.

I don't write the code myself, I cheat I came across a very simple but effective program called "Blog" it's a Windows prog but runs well enough under wine. There is a link to it at the bottom of my website

The site is about my "other" hobby, FPS gaming. hey it's got to be about something!!!

Have a look at "Blog" it's a small windows program (Works well under wine for Linux)

It outputs simple html, so there is no need for any fancy backend.

I have a blog, with sections in English and in French. I started it for myself, a place to keep stuff handy, to throw ideas out, and for my friends. I do not have much time to spend on it.

I just recently finished my website. For a long, long time I tried different things and coded many stuff but I never managed to finish a website. So, a few days ago, I used WordPress to build me a new site. At the moment there's "only" a blog on the site. It's about ME , linux, politics.. everything I want to say something about.

I work as a Web developer, I won't post up any of the sites I get paid to do. I hadn't had a personal website in years, but last weekend I did this:

It doesn't work on Linux, but that is intentional, nothing against Linux, only because 300km sounds more impressive than 24km. This is the Linux example:
