| Level 37 Bureaucrat | I'm starting Computing Science and whatever-the-hell-i-like-that-fits-into-my-timetable in September ![]() I'm thinking CS+philosophy+politics... Perhaps a joint-honours in philosophy and CS. I'd like something useful and scientific from my degree but something that also interests me. I'm not going to university simply to get the qualifications for a high-paying job, I'm going because i don't know what I want to do yet . I have friends that have actually worked out how much they're likely to earn by age 30 from various apprenticeships and university courses. They're obsessed with earning slightly more money... and they're only 16/17! |

| In case it wasn't apparent, sarcasm is yet another free service I offer. Pacifism is a shifty doctrine under which a man accepts the benefits of the social group without being willing to pay -- and claims a halo for his dishonesty.---- Robert A. Heinlein | |
