I sympathize with the victim, yes, but I also sympathize with the boy because he's under age.
It's so sad and tragic that it happened, but it appears that the girl woke up a sleeping monster when she threw the rock at him.
In reallity, she's the one who sent him to prison because the judge had went on her recommendation that the boy be locked up for what would seem like the rest of his life!!
That's why I feel that he didn't get a fair trial.
