Default Re: Are higher gas prices bad?

Sorry, but I somehow beg to differ on that one.

There were two tragic vehicular incidents which had only just occured in MA. which had just occured inside of a week.

In one on Saturday morning, an innocent man was killed by a reckless hit & run driver who later told friends at a party that he thought he hit someone on the side of the road. The guy was merely going for his usual morning walk as he did every morning. This really was no accident, since the driver was driving recklessly, knocking mailboxes down.

It was later learned that the guy was sending text messages at the time of the crash because he was not focused on the road. Also, he quickly has his damaged windshield and bumper replaced in four days to make it look like his vehicle was never in an accident.

And just the other day, two teens were involved in a drag race on a residential road! One of them was killed being involved in what was very stupid and idiotic!!

As he was driving, they were going at high as 72mph!! The dead teen's car became airborne and got wrapped around a utility pole, killing him almost instantly! The car became so mangled, mutilated and discombobbulated that it was hard to tell which end of the vehicle was what!!

The other teen as been arrested and faces numerous charges.

The majority of needless auto deaths usually involve teens who want to drive recklessly and stupidly!!

Man: "You're running at 1550. The house is lit" Little Boy: "Mom, can we keep him?"
