You are attributing powers to me I don't have. People can and do ignore me, either with the software function built into the forum software or just by not reading my posts. If anyone left because of me, it was because they don't like having their ideas challenged.

I'll give you that - to an extent. What can I say? I'm a leader and I'm interesting. I make people think, I challenge them, and some people like that. Others don't. They left.
Some people, whether they want to admit it or not, are drawn to me. You for example - you love talking about me. You wanted to talk about me here, in this thread.
Your buddy rjwood aka wherespapa is another with an obsession for me. He was so obsessed it apparently led him to some sort of internet nervous breakdown and he got himself banned on a forum where its near impossible to get banned. That was not long after he stuck his finger in an operating treadmill and drew back a stub. What a guy. Oh, the good old days. Its all there in the post history for anyone interested.
