There's always the difference between the food western Chinese restaurants sell, and what people sell and eat in China itself.

Rasczak mentioned Panda Express, which I assume is some franchise/chain/fast food thing and there's probably a little of that in manym if not mostm non-franchise Chinese restaurants as well.

At least that's the impression when I had business in Mainland China.
