If so, then what a cruel thing to say! He might not have been everyone's favorite rap star, but he did have a lot of fans, as most stars in show biz usually do.
And he DID help kick off the baggy pants fad. So, even though he's sadly gone, his legacy LIVES ON with billions of teens when they dress up wearing baggy pants, boots and long T-shirts. It's a trend that will hopefully NEVER go away.
And guess what? His music is STILL making money!! Love him or hate him, he was a great star! |
Frankly I couldn't care less whether he is dead or alive, but would guesstimate that because of his death, some other people might still be alive who otherwise might not have been.
I generally don't like people making a business out of setting themselves up as an idol for gun-toting criminalism (effectively inciting or encouraging the same behavior in others). Unfortunately he got to be a martyr somehow in the madness - that is the only reason his 'music' (for want of a better word) still makes money.
As I said I don't care if he is dead or not. But I do believe the world would have been a better place had he never existed in the first place.
