The last few posts seem like a good example of different people having different concepts of rudeness vs directness - it's all a matter of perception. One person's "directness" is another person's "rudeness". Rasczak is not known for his diplomacy, or he might perhaps have rephrased as "If one is overweight, one can wear suspenders". But it's a fact of life online that some people are more direct than others in the way they speak - even more so than in real life - and one needs really to have a skin more thick than sensitive to get by if interacting with such people. Getting offended is really most likely going to achieve only one thing - upsetting yourself.
