Publicity is important in business, and while 'all publicity is good publicity' is true to an extent, positive publicity is much much better than negative publicity. I can imagine some people might choose to no longer shop there after reading this story, or hearing about it in exaggerated, second hand ways.
If this happened in the USA, wouldn't there be a potential law suit if the situation was established that Walgreens do not permit life-saving merchandise to be used in emergency situations without being paid for? Not that I support such frivolous law suits, but in the land of McDonalds being legally responsible for their customers' obesity, I think almost anything is a possible law suit, meaning potential millions in damages.
Then again, perhaps there is already some legal precedent from a similar case - no idea on that. |
Hi Kevin!
I tell you almost anything goes here in the states..I was shocked that the Muslim women here were still ordered to not where there veils when getting their drivers license. It was an issue to them because they were not to reveal themselves..one more push and I wonder if it would have been granted anyway..Everything else seems permitted, that is out of kelter. So why not allow them their so called born rights here as well. Oh too bad they have to remove their veils..uh yaaaaaa your people came here to kill us..well not all..and I am aware of that. I mean c-monnn wear a veil? for proof of identification? you might as well have a child make a color drawing for your picture..wow..who are these people..
ok..point being..yes seems today the worm under the rock has slithered to the surface and lives..( CORRUPT ATTORNEY ) so anything can be applied.
Today..if I fell at a restaurant..and its my fault I can collect on behalf of the owners investment. Go figure..thats why everyone wants to live here. I love America..but it needs to buckle down..
