I don't think it's comparable to an iphone. It's more like that audiosurfing thing. Something that "nerds" would know about and jizz on themselves for but the public wont catch on for a while.

Sorry I cant think of a better example but it's one of those products that will be on the market a while before it gets a lot of popularity. Only the people who actively watch this kind of stuff will buy one. Like I've had a 4gb thumb drive for over a year, bought it for $25, and only within the past couple months have I seen other people with 4gb+ thumb drives. I was watching for something like this to come down in price for a really long time because I've always needed a bigger thumb drive. Only recently though are other people buying them despite that you've been able to get $25 4gb thumb drives for about a year and a half (2 years?) now.
