I don't know any 40+ people who went out and bought it, but I know plenty of 20 to 30-year-olds who have one and I know a lot of 11 to 19-year-olds went crazy over them too.
I'm sure they will sell millions the first day they release them. The iPhone was like $400 when it went on sale and people HAD TO HAVE IT. So I am sure that a paper-thin, semi-transparent, flexible, wrist-worn phone would be all the rage. Even if it is $600 when it comes out.
