I know plenty of males who are married or in heterosexual relationships who use toys during sex play. And I mean in the context of this issue. And I have been the giver before

Not at all, I am suggesting that it is only normal for males (both hetero and homo) to enjoy anal sex as it has a sexual pay off for men, both in giving and receiving.
Anal sex and males in my view is another area of sexual exploration and isn't automatically associated with homosexuality.
