Christmas was originally a celebration of the
winter solstice here in Denmark. Still many people celebrates it that way here, i believe. At least thats what we do in my family. We don't sing religious songs, we don't go to church and we don't in any way blend in any religion.
We do have a christmastree though, and we give each other presents too.
To me (and my wife and three kids) it's more a time for cosiness and having the opportunity to spend more time together.
