Sure...but when I meet someone, I always hope they have a dog. When I finally get to her house, I make real good friends with the dog FIRST. It can also be a cat, a snake, a rat or a teddy bear.

It's an excellent plan...makes great impression on both the mother and the daughter...and then anything's possible!
