I'm not 100% sure where to put my vote. I don't drink often, but when I do, it is with the intention of getting D-R-U-N-K. I also usually do so alone. Well, does IRC count as alone? I have the logs to show for it too. Seems I become a vowel-challenged drunk.
I can and do drink in moderation/socially as well. But, once again, not bloody often. Think New Year's/Mom's b-day, my b-day, special dinners.

So I dunno... I'm a rare binge drinker, with moderation capabilities?
