Also, there's another way to cook turkey. It's called a turducken.

The turkey's bones and rib cage are removeed except in the wings and legs and is spread out on a flat surface, some stuffing is added, then a deboned duck is place on that, then more stuffing, then a deboned chicken is placed on that. Stuffing on top.

Then the whole thing is closed up and the top part (breast) is sewed together, as if finishing a surgery. The turducken is then seasoned and placed in a roasting pan and into the oven. Depending on the size, it can take up to about 13 hours to roast, and it has to be done slow so that it all cooks evenly.

So an overnight roasting is definitely in order. I would do that though, unless it was being done for a party.
