Well, dialect is a funny thing. Here in Denmark we have something called "rigs dansk" and thats supposed to be the "proper way of speaking danish", but nobody does. Instead, in spite of what little country Denmark is, there's endless numbers of dialects. In fact, you don't have to travel far, to hear people speak a dialect you don't quite understand.
