My G5 mouse works fine...yes, you have to write a config file for it and adjust xorg.conf, but there are howtos out there.

Some in the community are working on Logitech mouse drivers, but not every mouse supports it (my G5, for example).

Keep asking Logitech to get off their lazy asses or else hope for a community solution. *shrug*
