I put my vote in for getting rid of it too. I frequent another board that uses this software and there is no need to click the button.

If it has to remain the way it is, I'd be interested in learning why.

In answer to Matts last question, some of the mods are very active on the forums, but if participation is any indicator of how much the admin reads the forum, I would guess no - the admin has not seen this request.
