define the choices it provides you that windows or osx for example doesn't and that you actually use.
Should people have the right to break a law in the first place?
Imagine a button which has the only purpose of breaking a law if you push it.
Should you be allowed to get this button, if the only thing you can do with it is breaking the law? You couldn't use it otherwise.
Don't get me wrong I would strongly oppose such a law, but If I would be the one at charge at canonical and not blocking US users from the repositories to get this kind of software would render me responsible for this I would probably exclude them at first and go to the court afterwards.
