My big beef with Windows is that many applications are hampered by newbie-friendly menus and tedious wizards that once you've done something once or twice get in the way. Serving the inexperienced audience shouldn't ignore the needs of intermediate and experienced audience.
I'd love more documents that stress concepts over screenshots and mouse click instructions. I don't want to take anything away from the people that need that kind of detailed and graphic help. |
I find that the forums fill that role pretty well. At least they do for me, YMMV.
