After reading through your posts I noticed a few titles that are common and that I have also have to mention, such as:

The Exorcist,
The Omen,
Hellraiser,
several Stephen King adaptations,
The SAW trilogy
I really liked Nightmare on Elm Street (Freddy made me laugh)

But I would also add to my list
Hostel (Quentin Tarantino is one SICK genius)
House of a thousand corpses and Devil's Rejects (Rob Zombie, need I say more?)

There are actually a lot of movies that come to mind since my wife and I LOVE horror movies.
