Are you talking about syntax? The best way I've found of learning languages is just to use them. Follow some tutorials, but don't copy and paste the code, type it out yourself. Or try and write a simple program yourself, and look up the syntax whenever you need it. For me, just reading syntax without using it is in one ear, out the other.
