Though I admire the author of the article for taking a stand, and I found the article quite interesting, personally, I don't feel obligated to take the time to learn, or to understand what fuels militant muslim rage.

I simply feel that at some point, that the sum total of the attacks against the west, will negate any understanding that the western powers and people have of the Muslim communities, patience will be stretched to the breaking point, and all hell will break loose.

As someone once said, the easiest way to kill a mosquito is to drive a telephone pole up it's ass. As it relates to the Middle East, a future landscape dotted by self illuminated parking lots, is not out of the question.

It's not the western powers that are responsible to reign in the militants, it's the Muslim world itself. If that isn't done, both good and bad people in the Muslim world, will meet a grizzly end I fear.
