Default Re: Best Linux games?

The most addictive, most complex stragey, most easy-to-use controls, multiplayer FPS. The graphics aren't bad, either. It's the most fun, most addictive game ever! IMHO.

OK, so, moving on now...
  • Stepmania - wicked DDR game, plenty of songs online if you need any. (The website looks kinda hokey, but the game is really awesome!)
  • Globulation 2 - Beautiful civilization game, much like Age of Empires, except you manage your people much differently.
  • Scorched3D - Turn-based extremely graphical remake of Scorched Earth. I've never really liked turn-based games, but this one is really fun!
  • FreeCiv - Personally, I've never enjoyed this myself. It's got too much of a learning curve (which signals a great game) and I really don't have enough patience for it. I hear there's a beta out that looks and works a lot better then the existing stable version, however.
  • rRootage - Hardly known, but it's great for quick pickup games, unlike the ones I've mentioned so far. I love the music as well. It's a clone of something, but I can't think of what...

...and last but not least...

BZFLAG! (I did say it was addictive, didn't I?)

Are you ready?
