The thing is a little plastic tube (about 3-4cm loing and 2mm thick) that goes into the arm. There it leaks a little amount of hormon all the time. This way you wont notice anything at all in terms of sex, and it safest, because it can neiter break like a condom, nor you can forget to take it, like a pill.
The thing works for three years, but is a rather big investment at once (well, for a student at least). Adn of yourse you have to remeber once the three years are over, that you are not save anymore.

Different women react differently on the implant, as with anything else. Generall the dose of hormon you take is smaller than when taken orally. But apparently the reactions of some women to it are somewhat more severe. it's frequent that the period becomes reall irregular, or that it stops all together.

I personally think that sex with condoms is different. Not like you feel less or it is worse or so, just different. Not as cosy or so... hard to explain. But if this is your first sexual experiece with your wife, I am sure wou wont mind the condom at all... as long as at least one of you is good in putting it on.
