Well, there are certainly those who are too immature to understand the art of compromise and communication. Most of it is simply due to age and inexperience. The others are usually arrested in their development of maturity. Another opportunity that opens up with these older ones is to reflect back to them their obstinance and personality tendencies. At least that plants seeds in them and I'm sure they hear and think about it..
