How can their cause be considered noble if they use and have used the benefits of others taxes without paying their own? Are they so noble that everyone should do what they're doing? What then?

I dont know much about this case, but if a judge allowed a different interpretation for the law in this case, that opens up a whole new can of worms, doesn't it?
