Re: Finding love! Being a geek and having a girlfriend is not hard. You first have to be sure that you don't go for what you immediately notice. I didn't think of my girlfriend as a possible girlfriend when I first met her. I was thinking of those other people that we all notice first. But once I noticed that she liked me and thought about it more, it made more sense.
Girls have a tendency to go "ew geek, run!" but once they get to know a few geeks the realize that geeks are really the guys that can make the best boyfriends (ahh hail geekdom!). Many geeks end up with secure jobs, and can be very useful. (I fix my girlfriend's computer, and her friend's computers too [so basically I know a ton of girls that think I am the best {self esteem +5}]). Many geeks are also what the girls call "sweet guys", geeks tend to value their girlfriends more because many geeks have had fewer girlfriends.
I can't remember where I was going with this.... I blame the "ADD" that I developed at college.... oh well, maybe someone can make use of that I said.
