I know that the biggest problem with satellite internet is latency - you're communicating with a satellite that's 22,000 miles away, which imposes a significant delay that you'll notice if you play FPS's like Counterstrike that like low-latency.
As far as finding ISPs in your area, hard to say. First I'd have to know what area you live in - you might be able to find one using Google... |
