We don't know. Thousands of experiments have been run on it. And it is always one or the other. Never does it show up as both in any experiment. But it gets worse, They have discovered that particles have a dual nature. They call it matter waves. It is the dual nature of particles (sub atomic) that allows some of the crazy things that happen in quantum mechanics.
