There are a lot of phylisophical points made by the author about things like values, duty, individualism, and other things, and he makes them against the backdrop of a fairly entertaining sci fi story. The book is very easy to read - lite reading, but there's a lot there. If you do take my advice and read it, PM me and let me know what you thought or start a thread.
