stargate is classic. I own seasons 1-9 on dvd, not that im a huge fan or anything. But the show has been around for 10 years...Buy one season, buy another etc, it all all adds up. Great storylines and classic quotes. Ive also watched star trek TNG. Considerably better then all the others, from what Ive seen. Enterprise season 3/4 had its moments. And highlander has to be science fiction, the storyline was so well thought-out for that series.

Stargate did loose a bit of that initial quality which was present in the first 7 seasons. The ori storyline is good in theory, but it should have been stretched out and developed more. I dont like how the creatures closest to gods were thwarted in 2 seasons, yet the gould with all their stupid cliched bad guy tactics were around for 8. Atlantis has a real good idea with the wraith.

Although the origional replicators has to be one of the best ideas for a bad guy. A childs toy that ends up just wanting to eat and multiply, genius!
