I personally think that drugs should be made legal for a certain amount of time. If it is legal the governments can supply and then, at least it is not cut with even more dangerous substances. People would know what they are getting. It also doesn't directly support crime through this way even tough it would exist for people to get their next fix. This would possibly kill of drug dealers, which then governments could slowly reduce the amount of drugs people take and eventually kill it off altogether.

People should be made to take up a programme of quitting the drugs. Slowly cutting it down. until the person is off the substance.

The problem being, no matter how hard governments/people try there will always be drugs sold if there is a demand for it. If governments sell it, it would be cleaner and the no addicted people would get the benefits such as money for schools ect.
