Now that would be upsetting to me. It's one thing to have it happen to you, but once it happens to someone you care about, especially if you know that it bothers them, it makes it an entirely different game.
If it was repetitious, I might call the police for general harassment, but definitely not as racial discrimination in some way.
I still think that we all need to grow a spine and not let minor things bother us. Imus? There was no way that I can even imagine it being a racist remark. Certainly it's very offensive to women and he should have been reprimanded, but not fired...
