All the thread starter wanted to do was start a discussion... He could have done better, like making a summary what he is meaning to discuss(there are many replies to read, what is relevant?), and of the article. Continuing an old one that died in a new thread(he was in perhaps), again summarising could work to. Or thinking of something new altogether.
