I smoke a pipe - tobacco. I'm not destroying my lungs. Pipe smokers don't inhale and they don't generally become addicted like cigarette smokers do.
On your second point, despite the propaganda, there is no hard evidence that second hand smoke poses any significant risk to anyone. But take heart, the government has abandoned concern for property rights and is doing their best to make sure you can go anywhere you want, including my private property-place of business without being "exposed." Congratulations. Enjoy it while you can, next they'll be coming after your rights.
